32. AFTERNOON CURLING - Pizza & Malbec
In 2013, George Leslie, the then Match Secretary, organised some lunch and curling for those members that were able to play of an afternoon. This proved very popular and the tradition started that we would meet for a lunch comprising of Pizza and a very pleasant Malbec. Therafter we would retire to the ice and have a very sociable (but competitive) game. We would sometimes have 2 rinks but more often it was one, however on one occasion with 10 curlers we played 10 stones per team and this proved to be great fun with a very crowded head as you can imagine.
