Extract from Minute of a Special General Meeting held on 28th March 1900: “Mr Adam intimated that since he travelled to Keir a few weeks ago he thought it would make a more interesting game between the two Clubs if there was something at stake in the game. He had ordered a small trophy in the form of a miniature curling stone silver mounted which he hoped would be ready to put on the table on the 13th June 1900.

4th May 1955: In addition to the usual programme, the Secretary had tried to find "a miniature curling stone for which 'Pollok' played 'Keir House' for in the past. This lovely stone was found by the Secretary of Keir House, and a game arranged to play for it. The Pollok Rink, skipped by Mr P McPherson, won, and brought home the miniature Stone.
8th May 1956: AGM “..reported that we had however retained the Lamont Curling Stone against our friends from Keir.”
24th April 1957: AGM – The President reported that he regretted that the Club had lost the game against Keir Club and that the Lamont Stone is now with that Club.
Extract from the Minutes of AGM Pollok dated 29th April 1977: The fixture against the Keir Club from Dunblane is the restoration of a very old connection between the Clubs. They (Keir) became the permanent holders of the original McGregor Adam Stone having won it three times in succession by 1909. The McGregor Adam Stone which is played for now between Pollok and Bridge of Allan was a replacement for the original stone held permanently by Keir. McGregor Adam had presented this second trophy in 1909 for the annual match between Keir and Pollok Clubs, until it ended up in the permanent possession of Pollok, being resurrected for the annual match with Bridge of Allan. The original Adam Stone had lain forgotten until Keir decided to play a return match at Crossmyloof next season (1976). Hence why we have two McGregor Adam stones.
1st April 2011: AGM – “We hosted Keir at Greenacres for the first time, successfully disorientating them to the extent that we had a comfortable victory.”
Usually held in October/November, the resurrected Original Adam Stone Match results:

Baillie McLellan thanked all his brother curlers from Keir for the fine game they had given us and hoped that it would be the fore-runner of many more such games, after having 'lain dormant' for so long. Mr W Reid of Keir assured us they would see we did not hold this trophy any longer than they could help, as they were going to challenge us at the first opportunity.
